This book is a must read for the young ladies. As a reader in my fifties I enjoyed the book and I am never too old to learn from the younger women. I may not do it now the way the young ladies are doing things today but I did have moments of reflection of my “crazy" Additionally I believe as a reader your thoughts, behavior and actions may be provoked. It is well written book and the author make no assumptions and will clearly define words or phrases often used by many to make her point. As you are reading the book you may have some outburst of laughter which I appreciated. There many truthful bombs not nuggets throughout the book. As you are reading be prepared to do the work to become an empowered women/better women (self- actualization)
Share the book within your sister- friend sistah girl circle/ book club/ youth group, Family co-worker etc... Perhaps instead of going out one night you and the girls can have some serious pillow talk. This may be the turnaround for ladies really learning how to be nice to each other.
Please know this is not a male bashing book; however it is a book that has been written by a woman for women to have open dialogue about the importance of listening to self and others.

This is such a soulful read. I cried, laughed, nodded, amen-ed, and just simply felt, felt real emotions thru my veins. A lot of young women will be able to relate and respond as the author depicts such a wide range of experiences and emotions. Men, don't be afraid to get your hands on a copy-- you will tour through a powerful woman's mind!
