Some Basic Theater Terminology Used Is Incorrect

The story, like the other Cherringham mysteries I have read, was good. Short, interesting stories that can be enjoyed in an afternoon.
The reason I gave this story only two stars is because it was set mainly in a community theater and the author did not bother to educate himself as to some of the most basic theater terms.
For the author's information, stage left and stage right are from the actor's perspective as they look out into the audience. House left and house right is from the audience's perspective looking at the stage.
Also, 'upstage' is away from the audience and 'downstage' is being in a position close to the audience.
As I said, pretty basic. Any theater fan or worker would immediately note these errors.
